The Sixth Annual Meeting of the PMRG Institute kicked off this week in Philadelphia, PA with Keynote Speaker Dan Roam.  His approach to visual thinking offered an excellent framework for communicating complex ideas via concise, effective graphic illustrations instead of the traditional bullet point presentations.  Using healthcare reform as a case study, he offered a six-step process for communicating insights through images.  The relevance of this approach was reinforced by other presenters at the meeting who commented that they would be re-examining their own presentation format in light of his presentation.
